We Sell Electricity.

EE Capital is an independent power producer: we own and operate ELYON generation assets; customers purchase electricity under long-term PPAs.
IPP · Contractor-Owned / Contractor-Operated

We sell electricity. EE Capital develops, finances, owns, operates and ultimately decommissions ELYON generation assets. Data centers, government and defense facilities, must-run industrial loads and other critical infrastructure can contract for power under PPAs of up to 30 years.

Long-Term PPAs · Up to 30 Years EE Capital carries the generation-asset lifecycle. Qualified third parties perform contracted fuel fabrication, transport and fuel-management services under applicable regulatory requirements.

100-Unit Below-Grade Energy Block

A protected two-level block houses 50 ELYON-5 units per level. Five repeatable 100-unit blocks scale a centralized campus to 500 units / approximately 2,500 MWₑ while keeping the surface footprint low and concentrating shared security, access and electrical infrastructure.

Above-Grade Option

Reinforced Energy Hall

Where below-grade construction is not preferred, standardized reinforced halls can house large groups of ELYON-5 modules with shared lifting access, service aisles, electrical collection and security. Capacity can be added hall by hall as customer demand grows.

Near-Load Energy Pod

Ayntrazi's career has followed a continuous path from hands-on engineering and entrepreneurship, through international energy project finance and nearly US$10 billion of closed transactions, into executive-level utility transformation and nuclear development. ELYON-5 is the culmination of that progression: engineering discipline, project-finance rigor, utility operating perspective and direct nuclear fuel-cycle experience brought together in one generation platform.

From Site to Systems

After earning an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Ayntrazi worked as a site engineer while completing a Master's in Civil & Environmental Engineering. The combination established an early grounding in physical infrastructure, construction execution and systems thinking.

Entrepreneurship & graduate study

Choosing Energy

An early entrepreneurial period took him outside engineering into two ventures running in parallel. He grew a retail concept from one to seven outlets and ultimately sold the franchise to a Pepsi-Cola bottler, using the proceeds from that exit to return to Washington, D.C. and continue his education. At the same time, he was developing a greenfield, high-volume automated pneumatic LPG filling station designed for approximately 50,000 units per day. The contrast between a consumer-driven retail business and an engineering- and infrastructure-driven energy project crystallized his decision to dedicate the rest of his career to the energy sector. He then returned to graduate study in International Business Management at Georgetown's McDonough School of Business and completed an MS in Finance at George Washington University.

Engineering Meets Finance

While building his finance career, Ayntrazi worked with Steve Denning in the World Bank's Knowledge Management program and then with Washington-based, government-focused boutique investment banks on international energy, IPP and infrastructure project-finance transactions. His work involved U.S. government and multilateral institutions including U.S. Ex-Im, OPIC — now the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation — and World Bank Group institutions, before continuing at Taylor-DeJongh.

2002–2013 · CRA International

From Finance to Utility Transformation

In 2002 he moved from Washington to Abu Dhabi and later Riyadh with Charles River Associates (CRA International). Over roughly 11 years he rose to Vice President, Partner and Officer in Charge for the Middle East, running regional operations, P&L and major client relationships while advising governments, ministries, boards and utilities on strategy, restructuring, transactions and transformation.

Executive-Level Utility Leadership

When CRA exited the Middle East, key clients continued to seek Ayntrazi's involvement. EE Capital was effectively established in 2013 as an advisory platform and Energy & Environment Capital LLC was subsequently established in Delaware in 2019. Through that platform, his work deepened into CEO, Chairman and Board-level advisory roles, including CEO Advisor and Shadow CEO responsibilities with Saudi Electricity Company across enterprise transformation, generation, grids, investment, M&A, privatization, renewables, digital transformation and prospective cross-border nuclear opportunities.

Advanced nuclear engagement · U.S. DOE & regional outreach

Early SMR & Microreactor Engagement

While advising Saudi Electricity Company, Ayntrazi was introduced to emerging U.S. small modular reactor and microreactor technologies through engagement with the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Embassy. He was encouraged to support U.S. advanced-nuclear engagement in the Middle East and subsequently explored opportunities for U.S.-designed SMRs with government and energy-sector stakeholders in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt.

Nuclear & the Fuel Cycle

At Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, Ayntrazi served as CEO Advisor and Business Development Lead as the UAE's four-unit nuclear program advanced. A major focus was development of a potential domestic nuclear fuel-fabrication capability, including two years of technical, regulatory, legal, commercial and financial work across the fuel cycle and first-hand diligence at major fuel-manufacturing operations in the United States, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and South Korea.
